Sandbags for Lawndale Residents
The City of Lawndale Public Works Department will provide Lawndale residents a maximum of 10 sandbags, based on availability, on an annual basis.
Sandbags are available at the Lawndale City Yard, located at 4722 Manhattan Beach Blvd on Mondays through Thursdays from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm and on Fridays from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Lawndale residents will be required to show a valid I.D. or Lawndale utility bill as proof of residency.
During after-hours, residents can call the Los Angeles County Fire Department Station 21 at (310) 676-4606 for information on where to get sandbags.
Sandbags are available for Lawndale residents only, not businesses. If you are a business, sandbags may be available for purchase at local stores such as Home Depot or Lowes.
