Monday – Thursday: 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Holidays: Closed


SUBMITTING IN-PERSON

Permit applications can be submitted over the counter between the hours of 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday - Thursday.

After the submitted applications have been processed, any payment due will be made at the Finance Department window during their normal business hours.


SUBMITTING BY E-MAIL

Download your permit applications and submit them by email along with any required documentation. Staff will process your applications and calculate your permit fees. We only accept payments in-person through the Finance Department.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Contractors:

Have your driver’s license, contractor’s license, and active City business license attached to your applications.

Permit runners, or the contractor’s authorized agents, must provide a copy of their own driver’s license along with a valid Authorization Letter.


Owner-Builders:

To qualify as an owner-builder, you must meet the following minimum requirements:

  1. Reside at the subject property for a minimum of one year

  2. The subject property must be the owner’s primary residence. Landlords not living on the subject property do not qualify to pull permits as owner-builder.

Those who qualify to pull a permit as an owner-builder must provide a copy of their driver’s license and a copy of a current utility bill that is: a) under their name, and b) addressed to the subject property. 

*These procedures are only required when applying for Building Permits. Planning Permits are exempt from these procedures.
