ABOUT THE LAWNDALE HISTORICAL SOCIETY MUSEUM & HISTORIC PLAQUE PROGRAM

The Lawndale Historic Plaque Program promotes an awareness and appreciation of homes and other buildings that contribute to Lawndale's heritage and character and reflects the community's pride in its past. Property owners who are awarded a plaque are not limited from making changes to the property that reflect and enhance the property's style and character. Anyone who feels his or her property is a good example of the era in which it was built is encouraged to take part. Nominations are open to all; however, owner approval is required at the time of application.

This program is administered free of charge to the property owner by the Lawndale Historical Society and the City of Lawndale.
