Program Description

If you signed up and paid for an activity or class which you could not attend, you might be eligible for a refund. If you reserved and paid for the use of a city facility and then had to cancel the event, you might be eligible for a refund. To determine whether your payment can be refunded, Community Services Department staff will follow the guidelines set forth by the City Council. Refund requests must be submitted by the following deadlines and rules:

Description Deadline
Contract classes & programs Start of the 2nd meeting; if less than 3 meetings, 48 hours before the first meeting
Youth sports leagues Start of the 2nd weekend of games; complete and undamaged uniform must be returned at the same time
Youth camps 4 city business days before the start of camp; no refund if a replacement participant is not found
Recreational field trips & excursions 2 city business days prior to the trip date; no refund if a replacement participant is not found
Senior Travel Club Deadline varies and is set by the tour company; no refund if a replacement participant is not found
Facility reservations 5 business days before your event

Credit card payments will be refunded within 5 business days. Refunds of payments by check will be mailed to the payee's address, listed above, within 4 to 6 weeks. The City will retain $5.00 as an administrative fee, unless the class or program is cancelled by the City.
