Inspections Thursdays only, 9:00 am to 12:00 pm

Code Enforcement

Please contact the Municipal Services Department to report unpermitted construction, construction work being conducted outside of the permitted construction hours, or if you have questions regarding code enforcement matters - (310) 973-3220.

Planning Commission

The City of Lawndale Planning Commission is comprised of local residents appointed by the City Council that serve as an advisory board to the City Council for land development, special use permits, planning, and zoning related matters on a case-by-case basis through public hearings. The appointed members serve for a two-year term and must file statements declaring their economic interests while in office.

Time & Location of Meetings:
2nd and 4th Wednesdays of every month
Meetings start at 6:30 pm and are held in the Council Chambers located at 14717 Burin Avenue.

Effective September 15, 2020, certain Planning applications will require a Title Report no older than 60 days.
